sorry, this request has probably been done to death, but anyone got any ideas I can do with sausages for dinner tonight?

IN pantry/fridge I have lots of things:
canned tomatoes/ paste
potatoes
pasta
rice
4 bean mix
cannellini beans
baked beans
onions
garlic
corn
200ml of leftover cream from last night's potato bake
eggs

I don't have many other veges apart from some carrots and corn cobs and some frozen mixed veges in freezer

Can anyone suggest anything? I am tired after not sleeping well last night and I just can't think. Please help if you can.. I don't want takeaway again as my pregnancy heartburn can't take it:laughing::laughing:

I am tired so just can't think of any ideas

Well being English I would have to suggest sausages and mashed potato with gravy and peas. Lovely!!! it is really sad but my DH and I love it. We don't eat a lot of sausages but it is easy to prepare, not time consuming and it tastes so good.

Apart from that, I can't think of anything it is just stuck in my head!!!

ok cook the sausages as normal. Remove from pan. Add to the same pan tin on tomatoes, garlic, diced onion, bean mix and some herbs if u have some. Heat thru and return sausages to the pan. Serve!

Also doing the same thing u can cook some pasta and when the sausages are cooked cut them into pieces and have sausage tomato pasta :)

You could make a sausage and baked bean pie. Just fry up or boil your sausages. Mix them in with your baked beans, top with mash potato and cheese and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. Yum.

Well, this is probably too late but perhaps for next time - I always make macaroni cheese when I have sausages

Cook enough pasta for however many people, stir through heaps of bechamel / white sauce seasoned to taste - with grated cheese in it too ! Don't skimp on the sauce becasue otherwise it turns out too dry and tastes yuch ! Top with sliced tomato, breadcrumbs (I prefer to cut up some bread into tiny squares and fry them in butter) and heaps of grated cheeese, pop in oven for about 30 mins. Yum with the sausages !

Enjoy:thumbsup:
