this is what ds said to me with tears running down his face after i just yelled at him:no: i feel like such a bad mummy! he was up on the stool as he always does and he kept going " mummy,mummy, mummy etc" and i've been feeling really cr@ppy for a week or so and i just shouted at him! i dont see how my mood is an excuse though, god i feel bad:crying: i'm just glad the girls were in bed and didnt cop it to! after that i gave him a big cuddle we both cried and he said" mummy dont ever do that again......ok we love you"

am i terrible or what????:shame:

We all have days like that and unfortunately it tends to happen just at a time when our children want to be so loving and sweet, leaving us feeling like **** and so so guilty. It doesnt make you terrible, it just makes you more aware from now on that our kids want our attention because they want to be with us.

Same sort of thing happened to me once when dd was about 4. I apologised to her and said I would try very hard not to be like that again. She smiled at me and said "It's OK mum, I'll still love you even if you do." One of my happiest memories of her.:)

OH how sweet is your little boy, i cant wait til my little guy can talk and hopefuly something along the same lines will come from him...im sure he will do something i need to tell him off for...otherwise he woldnt be a little boy :laughing:
