My daughter is 32 months old corrected (10 weeks premature) and has no words.
She was initially diagnosed with cerebral palsy but that has now changed. We just found out she's got a rare chromosomal disorder (trisomy of chromosome 15). Speech will be an issue, so I am looking for a speech therapist on the Sunshine Coast who is experienced with apraxia/dyspraxia, etc. Can anyone help?
Also would like to hear from other families with similar chromosomal disorder and/or speech impairments. We are very pro-active about it all and would be happy to share what we know!
