Might be different through uni, but I was doing the Diploma of Children's Services externally and wasn't elligable for JET fee assistance. Was disappointing because another girl only worked one day a week, went to TAFE one morning a week and was elligable for full time JET paid childcare and I wasn't because of not attending a place of study. Didn't matter anyway, my daughter wasn't in daycare to give me time to study she was only there while I worked but still it would be much better paying $3/week for childcare rather than $65/week for her 3 days. Like I said, might be different for uni.

I'm studying externally and I get JET childcare. I assume you're on PPS, but you'll have to sign a voluntary activity agreement. Give centrelink a call and have a chat.
