Anyone had the same and been preg?

The night before last, day 25, my DH and i had sex and when I went to the toilet afterwards there was a very light pink discharge on the toilet paper.
Then last night, day 26, the same thing except it was a darker red.
It's only happened after sex and only when I go to the toilet on the tp. DH said he didn't get anything on him.
I was expecting to be woken in the middle of the night with pains and AF but not yet. I think it wants to torture me a little while longer!
I read that if you are pregnant your cervix becomes very tender and sensitive and can cause some light bleeding after sex or it could be implantation bleeding. I doubt that though cos the preg tests still say negative.
Guess I'll just have to wait a few more days for AF.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Is it just AF coming?

I haven't had any of that after sex whilst pregnant but I do think any unexplained bleeding thats causing you pain ESPECIALLY during sex should be checked out with a doctor in case something more sinister is going on.

Well I haven't had any pain during sex. Well it hurts when it goes too deep but this has always been the case. And if it hurts we change position and it stops hurting. So do you think it is still something to worry about. My AF is due around about now, usually day 26, 27 or 28.

it may not be anything to worry about and 9 times out of ten it wont be, but best to be on the safe side...you could just have a little infection or something simple. I would get it checked out personally..just in case...then you can just forget about it once you have an answer

Hi Hailesb,

When I was pregnant the with DS I noticed some bright red spotting after sex and was informed that this can oftern happen in early pregnancy due to the cervix being softer and having increased blood flow (or something to that effect - can't quite remember the exact reason). I must admit I didn't notice this until after finding out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. It didn't last for very long maybe a week or so. So it may be just you're AF about to arrive (because i sometimes notice the same thing now) or it may be good news. Hopefully you'll get your answer soon.

I had this for a couple of weeks (also after sex), but as with daffy it wasnt until after i found out (5 weeks)

Most of the stuff i read when i was worried said it was pretty normal, and if it becomes more brown or heavy to get to the doc.

But I guess with everything during pregnancy, ask the doc! or maybe call that health direct number and speak to the nurses, they are pretty good!
