mum with no mum friends

Hi I am 23 and have abeautiful 6 month baby boy, but have no friends, all my friends seem to have abandoned me one is doing a phd, ones travelling Australia, and the rest are always to busy to catch up or can't catch up within a mum's schedual. I live in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide and I am not an eastern suburbs mum eg, I am not a home owner renevating with my husband whilst driving a fourwheel drive that has never been four wheel driving. help need friends who understand me.

I know what you mean about having no mum friends - im only 20 (18 when I got pregnant) so all my old friends seem to have forgotten about me in their quest to party the hardest!! In time though I met some new people with kiddlings - playgroups, bubba gym etc are really good places to meet other people ive found :D

yay just wish I had broadban this dial up is driving me nuts on this site cos I live in the foot hills I cant get broadban and I got used to it while I was in the city.

I have recently joined a baby play group and I am going to a mums group, but like I said before all the mums in the mums group are in their thirties established with careers and houses and I just don't seem to fit in. I know I will eventually find people I have common interests with but right now its like i am in transition stage and it sucks!
