i think my baby is teething with his 1st molars or eye teeth. he wants to sleep alot more often, is really clingy & whingy, has a slight temperature, just generally not himself.
He is 11mths old & already has all 8 front teeth (top & bottom), could it be his molars??

I think I'm in the same boat with my 9.5 mth DS.

He has 4 top teeth & 2 bottom ones but I can see white areas in his gums (top & bottom) in at least 2 if not 4 places and he's been really different behaviourally than he was when the previous 6 teeth came through. Nothing pointy there but this is how his previous teeth were too.

He's really clingy, really grizzly, sleeping more during the day, vomiting a bit, runny nose, snuffly nose, doing massive, smelly poos more frequently than usual and yesterday had a temperature of 38.4c and was so hot to touch (it's gone down now thankfully). He's a bit off his solids too & is quite tired & is waking once, sometimes twice in the night, which is unusual for him too.

Interspersed with that, he has moments where he's quite happy but on the whole, he's definitely not himself at all.

Was anybody else's bub like this while teething and if so, which teeth (molars, incisors etc) came through as a result?

Thank you

I came here to look for others who are saying similar things to what we have going on at the moment. I am wondering if my 12-mth-old is getting a couple of molars. I thought it was a bit early for molars, but when I am able to catch a glimpse I think I can see some swollen red lumps on his back gums. He has been whiney for about 10 days now (I thought it was his 12-mth immunisations, which it might have been, but it has gone on a for a bit too long for that I think) and has putrid nappies. He had awful nappies only with his first 2 teeth (I didn't know this happened until I made the connection afterwards when I heard other people say the nappies were awful with teething) but then everything was normal for the next 6 teeth. But he has had runny nappies for 10 days now too. Ugh. I can only think it must be teeth. He has also been waking far more frequently than usual overnight. Does this sound familiar to anyone and do you think it's molars??

thanks

I just came by wondering to see if anyone has an 18mth old with 2 yr molers.

My DD was 13 months by the time she had gotten all of her teeth, yep, front, eye, canine and molers, top and bottom. She also discovered around this time that it is a biting with them is great defence from bigger children, and we have been battling that one ever since.

Unfortunelty the teeth can also cause discomfort for quite along time by moving around inside the gum without actually emerging. Lots and cuddles and love until they do.

And some will disagree that it is related but she also had bad nappies, was very warm and clammy with a slight rise in temp, and went from a perfect sleeper to stirring during the night as well as being plain grumpy and very very clingy, only mum was good enough.
