Normal semen sample as follows

Standard Tests Volume >2.0 ml.
Sperm Concentration >20 million sperm/ml.
Sperm Motility >50% with forward movement
Sperm Morphology >15% normal forms
White Blood Cells <1 million cells/ml.
Sperm Antibodies (Immunobead Tests) <50% sperm with adherent particles

Here (http://www.monashivf.com/default.asp?action=article&ID=21852)is an artice from Monash IVF on male infertility and sperm analysis that is quite good.

As far as I am aware - the three major ones are sperm count, motility (movement) and morphology (shape).

So - I am not an expert but I would analyse your DH's sperm as follows ;

- Motility - 80% is very good
- Morphology - abnormal forms 60% means 40% normal which is very good
- count - 104 ?? is this 104 million per ml? if so is very good also - this is the most likely..... average is around 80 million per ml, and goes up to 200million.

Ring your doc and clarify that.....

Thanks for the replies ...Thank you Julie.:D..

That was his first S/A test along with the testosterone blood test which he received the results yesterday from Symbion Pathology
I checked the site you gave me but it is written different to the symbion results, the white blood cells, antibodies a few others i dont see in the Symbion test , Monarsh and other sites are much the same .. Symbion words the test different hmmmmm
In regards to Sperm Count 104 this is what is along side x10/ml there is a number 6 just above the 10 you see above if i put the 6 in it above it will show 106 anyways i guess you know what im talking about.
He has a smile on his face now, were both happy his test looks good, my hubby will be going back to the doctor to confirm everything is ok.

I appreciate your help ..Julie..:):goodvibes:

10 with a 6 just above the 10 is 10 to the power of 6 = 1,000,000

In other words the 104 is 104 million per ml - which is very good.

All in all it sounds great.

Hope you get your BFP soon
