Yesterday I bought a Layback Stroller (the Steelcraft Phoenix) and today we took our first outing in it.

It was great, except when it came to sleep time Dd couldn't settle in it and got quite upset. She is now happily asleep in her cot.

Her previous transport had been a pram that lay down flat and Im wondering whether this is normal for babies to take a while to adjust.

She is only 5 and a half months now.

Thanks

Jo

hi
my son doesnt really sleep well in his stroller either,it doesnt lie down flat.maybe rug it up a little with blankets so its cosy?i read somewhere that when babies sleep in carseat or stroller they dont get as good rest, like the way we feel after we fall asleep in a chair or something.i always think of that when ds falls asleep somewhere LOL

Hi MissO
Might just be a once off. The Phoenix lies down almost flat and DD2 could slepp in it. But come to think of it, the pram I had before that didn't lay down totally flat either, so maybe not so much of an adjustment

Cheers

my DS will fall asleep on every car trip  whether that be one corner away from home or on a long trip lol
he doesnt normally fall asleep in his stroller unless he is really tired coz he finds the bus rides exciting

Zach wouldnt sleep in a stroller until he turned 3... he slept in a pram EVERY trip though (and mostly still does now hes 3.5 cos he likes his sleep). Isobella on the other hand will nap (only catnap) in her stroller or pram but she fights it a lot harder. I don't think she likes sleeping anywhere other than her bed though.

All kids are different but I really think prams are much more comfortable!
