i have a Q. can i apply for a marriage licence if my divorce hasnt completely gone through yet. its a matter of waiting for it to be finalised, but can i get the preliminary paperwork out fo the way, or do i have to wait until the divorce is through?

You can complete the appropriate paperwork in preparation for when your decre nisi(divorce papers) come through. Unfortunately, the paper work can not be processed until such times as your decre nisi is approved. You must then give your celebrant one month and one days notice of intent to marry. Thankyou for your question.

The choice of civil celebrant (http://uniqueceremonies.net.au/page_services_services_page_1.html) is a very personal and each celebrant can offer you something different in creating your own personalized ceremony.
