Studying externally

Hi there, i got accepted to study Bachealor Early child hood education through JCU externally but i deferred, i was just wondering if anyone knew if you where still eligible for the JET childcare assistant if you are studying externally or do you actually have to study on campus.

Im not to sure, but if you give Centerlink a call they should be able to tell you :)

I have received JET for studying tafe courses by felixible delivery (study at home) so I cant see why not!!

It doesn't matter if you are studying externally or on campus, it just depends on your study load as to how much jet you will get approved:-) I am studying full time externally, I haven't put my child in day care other than a short stint (will next year sometime) - but I was jet approved:)
