When you test for pregnancy, how long do you wait????

A week after you're due for AF, or a day??????

Yeah I know technically you can...but I was wondering how long everyone else waited before testing...

Such as yourself, how long did you wait before testing??

some tests say 10 days after conception, so you can test early, but it may not always work. I tested the day I was due :)

I did 2 early on but got BFNs both times. I didn't go to the doctor until I was 2 weeks late.

If I was TRYING to have a baby, I'd be eager and probably test about a week before my period was due, then every day up to my period being due, and then again after if my period didn't come. :p

Generally though, I'd wait until after my period was due... I dunno how long... if I hadn't had sex, I wouldn't even test...lol. If I'd been having sex regularly, or there was a greater chance of it happening (ie. unprotected), then I'd test sooner probably.

You know, I just realised... I'm on the pill, and having sex, but skipping my period each month cos I hate it... so basically, I wouldn't know if I was pregnant or not going by period anyway...lol.

the months i got bfns i tested probably about 10dpo onwards. the month i finally got my bfp i didnt test til about 19dpo lol

The person is no longer trying they stopped a little while ago..a couple of months now I think... But didnt go onto the pill or anything, so there is always a chance...

What you are doing with the pill is what I done and I ended up 24 weeks pregnant with no signs of prenancy...lol...so be careful....;) lol

Thought I might add, The person is 2 days past being due for her period, and no sign of it....(well was due yesterday, so today makes 2 days)!

TEST HUN TEST!!!!
I spent about $200 on test :laughing: did about 2 a day for 2 weeks leading up to my AF & they were all BFN then the day my AF was due I did one & got a BFP....all that money spent & got BFP on my AF due day :banghead:

With all 5 of my pregnancies I tested the day my period was due, and would get a positive straight off and would do a second test the next day to confirm :)
