Pregnancy brain anyone??

Hey all

Just wondering how many of you have pregnancy brain? I did the silliest thing, was getting ready to go out to dinner and I went to put on my deodorant and sprayed hairspray instead, i was so sticky it was gross :laughing:

The other day i had brushed my teeth and thought I had put my toothbrush back in the bathroom, when it came time to go to bed it was nowhere to be found, after 30 mins of searching DH found it in my handbag, duh i was gonna look there seriously.

Would love to hear other pregnancy brain stories

I know that I've done heaps of preggie brain things lately...but my preggie brain has forgotten them all. :o That's pretty bad :o

Here is my nice LITTLE list - an im only 15wks :D

* leaving house without keys, mobile, wallet you name it ive forgotten it

* getting in car to drive of, remeber i forgot one of the above mentioned items, go to unlock the front door and its not locked.

* making DH tea and forgetting to put the sugar in but swearing i did.

* going in the shower to wash my hair, shave etc and going in and coming out the same way, sometimes even forget to brush my teeth.

* putting washing on with no liquid

*dialling the wrong number then wondering why i don't recognise the voice on the other end.

im sure there is more....

I am usually the most on time organised person but since falling pregs again im a mess....my best friend...CHECKLISTS !!!

I have had it since about week 5.

I feel like i have become very simple and brain is non existant. I ask the dumbest questions, do silly things.

hahahaha YES! i have had this and i thought in the begining i was actually going mad!

Lets see - i have trouble remembering anything so wish me luck...

I have...
Put the butter in the cupboard and the DRIED packet pasta in the fridge lol
I have forgotten to brush my teeth
Forgotten to wash my hair
I quite often forget to release the handbrake in the car and then wonder why my car (which is only 2 yrs old) isnt working properly lol (and trust me im the most anal person when it comes to my car).
I forget to indicate sometimes (now that im writing it, im so embarrassed....)
When i bring work home with me, i consistantly forget to take it back to the office in the morning

Probably the most major thing i have had issues with is forgetting words and how to speak lol. Sounds dumb but i swear, i was talking to my sister the other day and was about to say a word when it vanished. she looked at me in a knowing way and said describe what your tryin to say, so im there going - the animal doctor lol - she goes Vet? AH! YES! hahaha ooops - and i always get words mixed up in the sentance.

I feel soo idiotic lol - really very scary!

Yep i forgot that i also have trouble talking and offen have conversations of just jumble. We get a laugh out of it!
