Just wanted to find something out. When using flannalette flats, I cant use a snappy :( SO when i fold it into a chinese/origami fold, where do I put the pins?

Thanks

just a suggestion, when we used flannelette flats, we either folded them into booster pads and lay them in a PUL cover, or tied a snib/T-wrap over the top to hold it on. No pins used anywhere.

There is also a no pins fold here:

I put one pin front and centre of the origami fold.

I agree, the origami fold and Snappi closures are incompatible.

Can I ask why you can't use a snappy? And what colour snappy are you using?

Yup, one pin in the centre :)

aardvark, do you use snappis on flannelette flats? I didn't think they would work.

I've never bothered with Snappis because I have always stuck with the origami fold from birth to TT, and because of how it wraps over at the front, there's no where to put it.

Snappies just don't seem to 'grab' flannelette. I have heard different colours make a difference though. Are any colours better?

Okay looking at my stockpile of Snappi's

My favourite is the dark blue one, works well everytime, not too stretchy not too tight!

My least favourite is the aqua one I am ready to just chuck that one out the window even though it is the newest one!:banghead:

The ones without snappi actually written on them are really good too!;)

that is funny OM... I have heard from many sources that the white and green ones are best!!???

-- it DOES depend on how long you stretch them before using them though :)

Oh yeah the white ones are pretty good, majority of the white one's I have don't have the snappi written on them! As I said the one's without snappi written on them are pretty good!;)

Green hmmm I didn't like that one, it only lasted 3 months!
