Hi there, I was wondering how much other bubbas around 3 months old are drinking. Evie is 11 weeks and since she was around 8 weeks she takes 120ml, sometimes she drinks only 90ml and in rare occasions she drinks 150ml. But in the back of the formula tin says that up to 2 months is 150ml and up to 4 months 180ml, so how much are other babies having at this age?
Ah, she drinks roughly every 4 hours x 5 bottles a days.

Hi
Ryder turns 3 months later on this week and since he was 8 weeks old he has been drinking 220ml with each bottle.
Approx 4 - 5 bottles a day.
A midwife told me that the instructions on the tin is only a guideline and that it is impossible to over feed a baby. They don't take into account growth rates, weight any of that sort of stuff.
Some babies need more then others.
Hope that helps

May I also ask which bottles and teat size are you using? Sometimes I wonder if the teat is too slow and she gets bored but when i tried a bigger size the milk dribble from the sides of her mouth :o. I use Avent bottles and size 2 teat. Thanks
Harlan is 9wks now (was due in april)
hes having a breastfeed then bottle due to supply issues. he will drink 100-150mls of formula after a breastfeed! hes a piggy! usually its around the 100 mark, but its slowly dropping as my supply is increasing...
we use happy baby bottles with a medium flow teat. i also have normal bottles with a slow flow teat and he hates it, its not fast enough, but when the other bottles arent sterilised and i have to use them he gets frustrated and stops drinking at around 70ml.
Charlotte has just gone up to 180mls 5 times a day. Sometimes only 4 times a day. She is 16 weeks tomorrow. We use Avent bottles with teat 3. Oh and we use s26 Gold.

Our Evie (great name ) is nearly 15 weeks and she was drinking 250mLs 5 - 6 times a day on Heinz but we have switched her to SMA make by the people who make S26 (thanks to Cora :D) and she now drinks 180mLs 4 - 5 times a day...
We use Avent bottles too, we have a mixture of 3 teats, 2 teats and variable teats (lol we haven't gotten around to get all 3 teats yet - damn money) we find the two teats are way too slow yet she doesn't mind them during the day and also if she is having teething pain, she loves the 3 teats especially at bed time......
Evie also does the dribble out the side of the mouth too, I don't think it's necessarily the teat as such but they just aren't interested so I usually take the bottle out and in 10 -15 minutes she wants more and none comes out the mouth, but it can take a couple of days to adjust to a new teat flow!

Everyone is so different hey! Georgie is 12 weeks old today (OMG it goes so fast) and is on Nan formula - having between 150 -180mls 4 - 5 times a day (plus still a 3am feed) Sometimes she'll only have 120mls - just depends on her. I'll looking forward to her having more so we can drop the night time feed.
Wow I'm finding this very interesting.....
Jordyn turned 3months last Thursday, she is on Heinz Gold/Avent 2teats, (about to change to 3 teats - shopping tomorrow!) - and she still only drinks 100-120mls per feed, on the odd occasion she will do the full 150mls.
She has about 5 feeds a day.
