3rd Birthday - what to do???

I need some ideas! :o Miss M turns 3 in a couple of weeks, and I'm a bit out of practice for 3yr olds!! (it's been a while! :laughing:)

I was thinking a get together in the local park. cake, streamers, party food, party bags etc (all the usual suspects):D

BUT........

Should I organise games?? Pass the parcel? Any others that are 3yo friendly??

I guess having games, depends on where you go for the party. I held DD's 3rd birthday at this park that had a HUGE boat type playground. I had pin-the-tail on the donkey to play but the kids were having so much fun on the playground and also playing with DD's presents that they had no time to play games!

I think that whatever you do will be fun! If you really want games, pass the parcel is great, as is musical statues.

Thanks! 3yr olds aren't great at playing organised games! I figure pass the parcel is probably it. I might do face painting (I used to do it for kids parties) I think that should be enough - the playground is there too.
