Hi Mums,
My name is Emma and I am 25 years old and mum to 1 year old Lily. This is my first post and I am on a mission to start up a mothers group for mum's between the ages of approx 22-30.
Are there any other mums out there in the Shire or surrounding areas in this age group that feel as though they are the only mothers of that age out there?
I have tried playgroup and rhymetime etc but it just seems as though most mums are 30+ which makes a lot of sense since I think the average age for a first time mum is about 30/31.
And then I see posters around the doctors surgery, baby clinic etc for young mothers groups but this is for mums that are under 21/22.
I just feel as though the 'in-between' age is missing - so is there anyone out there in the Shire that is feeling the same?????
