My DD is 12weeks and has started going all night without wanting a bottle. She has one before bed at 6, and used to wake between 2 and 4 crying for a feed. Now she'll stir/wake and will either go back to sleep straight away or when she's given her dummy, or is content to lie in her cot til she dozes off again. Is she old enough yet to be having just 4 bottles during the day, or should I be feeding her when she wakes, even though she's content? Must admit I'm enjoying all the sleep!

My DS slept from 8.30pm till 5am from 10 days old...

Definitely ENJOY the sleep, lol

The only issues you have are enough fluid (wet nappies) and weight gain. So keep an eye on these and if you have any problems I would offer more day time bottles rather than any night bottle.

Hooray... you just achieve night sleeping and some people are still trying to achieve this when their babies are 18mths :yelclap:

:iagree: If your DD is having lots of wet nappies and getting enough milk according to weight/ mls ratio (150mls milk p/kilo of weight eg. If DD is 5kg then she should be having 750mls a day) then I wouldn't worry and enjoy your sleep . If you are worried that she isn't getting enough then give her another bottle or up the volume in the 4 she is having now. HPH Good Luck and sweet dreams :flowerz:
