need fertility help just wanting some advice

hey everyone
i am new here, I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on what is going to happen when i go to the fertility specialist, have not been able to get pregnant in two years, hubby and i got tests done and looks like i dont ovulate every month. hubby is fine every thing was normal with him, so what should i expect will the dr try us on some medication at first or is there more testing to be done before hand...
if anyone can give me some info about the whole process i would be greatful i am a little nervous that i will have to wait months to finally try something and have the chance to fall its been two years now we have tried on our own and now i getting to the stage where i cant wait anymore, so if anyone has been through the process if they wouldnt mind giving me a little bit of advice that would be great

It is such a long journey ... and so very difficult.

Seeing an FS is a big important step forward - so congratulations.

I have recently seen a Fertility Specialist. Two in fact.
Initally they will do blood test to see when you ovulate and to tell you when to have sex when you do ovulate. 'Timed Intercourse'

It is a bit more of a waiting game once you know when you ovulate you will have a much better chance conceiving.

I went to a Natropath to get my cycle back on track. After going off the pill my cycle was quite long (42 day) and I ovulated later (day 20) I took some chinese herb mixtures and I now ovulate on day 16 which is better.

hi i dont ovulate at all and was put on a drug called clomid which is supposed to make you ovulate, this will probably be the course of action for you depending on why you dont ovulate. come join us in the clomid support thread and ask as many questions as you want.
