I have a breville bread maker but I have no instruction booklet. Just wanted to get some recipes to make bread for my bread maker....
does anyone have some good recipes for a bread maker....
thanks
It'll say on the flour packet what proportions to use for your machine, but for my breville machine the basic quantites I use for a 1kg loaf are 400ml water 600g flour and 2tsp yeast.
I like to make chocolate raisin bread with a rye bread mix. I add cinnamon, sugar, some cocoa and sultanas or raisins or other dried fruit and set it on the sweet cycle.
Yum!

I was wanting to make bread that's 'preservative free' gluten free etc... cause Im wanting to cut out on that stuff for my DS, so I thought if I could make healthy bread (cause he loves bread) it may help him.
Are the packet mix free of the bad stuff....also is the packet mix sold where the flour is?

Coles sell the Lauke (sp?) brand. I know that if you go up the Gluten Free aisle that Coles are really starting to stock more and more of this area.
Goodluck! I'm going to try making my DD some bread with vegies in it to try and get some more vegies into her!
Ahhh...different thing altogether...
Try the internet. Google gluten free breadmachine recipes.
You can ususally get the flours you'll need from a health food shop. They can usually order in if they don't have it.
