Hiya,

Im sam mum to lex (19mths) i missed out on a mothers group... *coughs*fantastic echc we have in dee why*coughs*, anyway really starting to feel the lack of adult conversation and kid time for lex recently.

Wondering if anyone knows of or attends a beaches playgroup or is keen to meet up???

I used to go to one in Oaks Ave when I lived in Dee Why. It was held every Tuesday morning if I remember correctly at the school there but since they've been renovating or something they moved it to the hall opposite the church. I havent been in AGES though so not sure if its still running...
Otherwise I can only recommend looking at the playgroup website...

Thanks, I have checked the playgroup web site and the few i have emailed have wait lists!!
Theres one at north curl curl though they recommended that new members bring their friends or mothers group with them! oddly enough!

Thanks though.

I'm in Harbord so can't really help you. Just wanted to say I went to the one in Curl Curl to try and was not made to feel welcome, there was quite a few mums there already so it was busy but no one bothered to come and talk to us at all. Not a good experience.
There is a waiting list at the one I go to here in Harbord too but it's held at a church (I'm not religious but everyone's welcome), I'd say have a look around the churches in your area, ours is not 'playgroup association' there are a few churches close to us and they all have playgroups that meet there.

Good luck it is hard to find a good one.
