Im currently with Monash IVF in melbourne but feel like im not getting enough information in regards to money and medicare and feel like my nurse could be a little more caring, so im thinking of going over to Melbourne IVF as ive heard that its cheaper as money is abit of an issue.
Is anyone with Melbourne IVF?? Also if i was to change would i beable to transfer my 3 frozen embryos over??
Does anyone have any recommendations for a Dr there?
I do like the Dr i am with now though thats why its hard to change but i only deal with him when i have a failed cycle.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Cindy, I went through Melb IVF and they were fantastic. The docs and nurses and all the staff were great! Very caring!I went through, Dr, Foster and Dr Mc Bain who were lovely. My OB was Dr. Gronow, he also works there and he was fantastic and he also does IVF treatment. i will go through him for my next cycle. There are a few girls on the other thread by Beatrice who are going through Monash and some going through Melb so if you want post in there and they might have some more advice for you!!

Hi
I too went with Melb IVF. Would seriously recommend Dr David Wilkinson, he was fantastic - really cheery, supportive kind of guy. Not sure how Monash work but I saw the actual Dr at every visit... ie. to discuss level of drugs, to check follicles developing, to do the transfer etc. Only saw the nurses to pick up the medication and to be shown how to inject etc.
Best of luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks Bailey,
I only see my Dr after each failed cycle. I think i will give MIVF a call tomorrow. I like the sound of seeing the Dr at each appointment and not the nurse.
