Heya
I've been a bit slack with my pilates lately, with moving and all that it kind of slipped by the wayside, but I've decided I'm doing it tonight!!!
Hopefully next week I'll be able to afford creche so I can go to the gym a few times too, I haven't gone in ages :o
What's everyone else been up to?
And if anyone knows of a womens only pool/swim sessions in Brisbane let me know :D

I've been doing nothing, and I'm gonna pay for it at the end of nine months  :(

I have been enjoying going for walks with Steph. Im craving sunshine atm :sunshine: it makes me feel so good and really lifts my mood.
I know being overweight before falling pregs I should be doing more but due to various reasons - long story, feel free to ask - I won't be doing anymore than simple walking. :flowerz:

I've been getting out and pounding the pavement for a couple of hours a day with DS1 - I love it and so does he. (I have to do something to counteract my binge eating :crying:)

Same besides packing for our move, plus ill be cleaning the whole house too so i think that counts as exericise :p
I too will be paying for it by the time i have bubs. I think i've already put on weight and its only just gotten to me the last couple of days :(:crying:
Hi guys
I have still been going to the gym
I am jogging 3 kms max 2 times per week and still doing weights but feel like it is all getting a bit too hard On the off days walk 6 kms
:smiliedance:
I guess it is easier with just me at the moment and it makes me even more hungary if there is such a thing

Hels I know that feeling, it's scary when I think that there's another 6 months to go and I could blow up like a balloon at any time!!
I don't drive so getting to the gym is a bit of a mission, and when I'm tired it's enough of a workout just to get there, I'm shattered before I even get inside. :o:laughing:
I know if I don't put in some effort soon I'm going to start putting on weight and I'm not in a position to be going out and buying maternity clothes, I can't afford to gain alot of weight! :(:o

I think I was so relieved to be over the MS and extreme tiredness that I went out for a bike ride yesterday. I really enjoyed it and I think it was good for DS#1. However, as the bump gets bigger I can't see bike riding being a good pregnancy exercise.
I like swimming so when DS#1 is back at school I think I'll make regular visits to the pool. I quite fancied doing yoga but my local classes seem to be early on weekends which doesn't suit me. DH likes walking so that encourages me to make the effort. Sometimes the thought of doing the exercise put me off but I really enjoy it once I'm doing it.

Is the pilates you do specifically for pregnancy? There is a pilates class at my gym and I have thinking of checking it out but I don't know if a regular class is good if you are UTD.

I think I hate you. I took my son to the park the other day walking at a 2yo's pace and it almost killed me.
[quote=Incy Wincy;2826901]However, as the bump gets bigger I can't see bike riding being a good pregnancy exercise.[quote] I have read that bike riding is actually one of the most comfortable types of exercise to do while pregnant, expessially late pregnancy. Mum is giving me her bike and i'm planning to ride that as exercise. Apparently you need to put the handle bars up so your not leaning over so much.
I was really working on my fitness before I became preganat. I was walking all the time and starting to jog but then everything fell apart. I have been so fatigued and sick that I have hardly been able to look after myself and DS let alone try and exercise. I am 13 weeks today and the last week has been a lot better energy wise and the MS has gone. I think becuase of how sedentary I have been the last 3 months I have lost any condition that I had and now the smallest bit of exercise exhausts me. I know I need to get back into and I'll feel a lot better. I have a gym membership to a great gym so I'll have to start off on some really easy routines. Does anyone know of a good website with tips for exercise during pregnancy?

Yep it's a pregnancy pilates dvd, by some guy called Allan Menezes or something
When I get to Brissy I'll be joining a gym there, DH promised I could as long as I stick with it lol it'll have to be a bit easier to get to than the one I'm with now!
I know what you mean though, since falling pregnant I've either been too sick or too tired to do very much and now I'm noticing it :( which is annoying cos I was doing really well.

I went to the gym today, and did my pilates yesterday. :D
And I bought some black strappy heels, and the heel and sole are silver, yay for me! I have my eye on another pair in the same store, I think I might get them next week. :o
I haven't had anything new in sooo long, so I'm taking advantage of the spare cash I have atm. :D
