Hello everyone,
This is my first time here.....just wondering if anyone has any advice. My gorgeous little 4 week old seems to had such a big cry everytime she passes wind, it actually wakes her up if shes sleeping and she cries her little head off..poor thing. She did have thrush for about a week, cause i had to take a couple of antibiotics cause my caeser scar got infected...but they thrush is cleared up. Let me know if you have any suggestions????

I dont know if this will help at all but when my son was first born he used to pass wind very voilently(much like his father) it bothered him a liitle but he didnt scream often. Eventually i was told that i was because i wasnt burping him enough when i was breastfeeding him and that the build up of swallowed wind has to come out somewhere. I started to burp him more frequently when i was feeding him and he soon stopped doing it.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
When Jayden was about three weeks old he developed the same thing where he had lots of wind and would wake up screaming and kicking his little legs around until the wind passed. His Dr told us to go to chemist and get Donnalix Drops (most large chemists have them). The doseage is on the bottle from new born upwards and they solved our little prob immediately. He is now 6 months and still has them every now and again but all has been fine. They were so wonderful.

thanks for that....we shall visit the chemist later on today and have a look. Its so horrible cause she just screams her little heart out ,poor baby. But it has calmed down a bit over the last few days, until about 20 minutes ago she just went had another one. And shes just small only 2.8kg's that it seems to mean :(
cheers for that

I used Infacol drops for Tash and they worked really well.
