Hey,
Tristan just turned 6 months yesterday and today 3 teeth have came through. OUCH!!:crying: He is very over tired and in alot of pain! Its been a very long day!!!
Was wondering if someone could recommened something to stop the pain, im not quite sure if there is anything else.
Today i used Panadol and SM33 (chemist said was better than Bonjela)

Some suggestions would be great! He is still awake and im so tired!!:sleeping:

A bath
Lavender oil in a burner or on the sheets

That won't stop the pain but might calm him down.

Cloves with grated apple in a muslin cloth can help ease the pain though.

shove a wet washer in the freezer for awhile ( I have several .. on rotation) then let him chew on it...

Jack love to chew on ANYTHING... especially cold stuff..

Seth loves chewing on the face washer in the bath and the cloth nappies we use for burping. Other than that, we give him panadol and Bonjela.

Question for you though - did your bub's gum split at all? Seth got his first top tooth yesterday (one next to it came through today) and it looked like the gum actually split under the pressure from the tooth! Only on the first one though, not the one that came through today and his bottom gum didn't split with those teeth either. The tooth appeared within a few hours of the split so I wasn't all that worried then, but have been keeping an eye on him. Maybe he bit down too hard and the bottom tooth split the top gum? I really don't know.

Poor little man, had needles yesterday too and now has red swollen thighs. 2 needles and 2 teeth within 2 days - no wonder he's been a bit upset!!

I use an elixir made by a chemist in Melbourne. It's fantastic!
He also does mail orders so if you want the name and phone number just pm me.

Well we had a really bad night!
We had to go for a drive to get Tristan to sleep. He then woke up every hour:eek: ! Thankyou so much for your advice, will put some facewasher in the freezer this morning!
