is anyone involved in the model kids aust online directory???? we all went for an assessment today and i must say the photographer got some gorgeous shots.

hi,i had my first 3 kids done a couple of years ago and i must say they did a fantastic job and still have the cd they did. It was very expensive and never got any jobs out of it for the kids but it is something that i will have to remember what they were like at that age.

so you can get hold of the photos can you?? They got some wonderful shots (beats getting the pixie photos) and they were so natural but was worried I wouldn't be able to get a hold of them.

we were offered photos at a great cost or we could get the dvd that they put together,it was brillant but came with a cost of $300 and that was over 3 years ago. So they are expensive like all the rest.

yeah ... I got suckered in ... bought the CD with a slidshow of 90 photos .... $300.

The DVD was $450, the packages started at $545 ...... up to $1500.

Hi, can you give me some more info on model kids? Where are they and what did the assessment involve? Do you pay a yearly fee for them to represent your kids or is it just the photos? Thanks

MJ is a Model Kid :smiliedance: I loved the pics but didnt get them :(

mbrbbt - modelkids is an online agency. Costs nothing for the assessment photo shoot where the photographer assesses whether the child can feel comfortable in front of the camera, if they are photogenic, their personality etc ... no major dea as long as you or the child don't get hung up on it.

If they make it onto the web page, there is no cost involved, only if you get casted or get a job then you pay a % of income (can't remember how much)

BUT this means no REAL gaurentee of work, just a possibility. I only got involved as Declan has the most disarming smile and I have been approached by a number of people suggesting as much, AND Ciaran wanted to be a "Target" boy ... LOL wants to have fun in the catalogues and Alana is just a severe show off.
