Today woke up had bad haemerroids which are really painful got some cream but doesn't seem to be doing much. I have pelvis pain so it's hard to walk as well as having heartburn in my sleep.
What a combination.
Any remedies??? Suggestions, Had haemarroids after the birth of my last and now I have them at 23 weeks. Does it mean from now on I will be in pain for the rest of the pregnancy???:crying:

i got them on & off during my 2nd pregnancy!!! OUCH!!!!!!!!!! I just used cream. And i also found that resting... sitting or even better lying down helped them to go away quicker. the more active you are the bigger & more painful they become!!! So rest!!!!!!!!!! :hugs: I hope they go away soon for you!!
I feel for you! I get haemmoroids too and I remember when they were especially painful once while trying to sit and breastfeed as well as having mastitis too! So I really feel your pain!
What I did was use iceblocks. It numbed the area and felt really nice. I also went to see the doc coz one day I filled the bowl with blood (sorry if tmi) and I was really scared but he told me I had a fissure that had burst. Anyway, I told him I used cream but that it didn't help and he said that sometimes you can get a reaction from the cream that makes it still hurt. Anyway, I got some pessaries called proctosedyl and they worked a treat.
So all I can suggest is that you go to the doc and maybe ask about the pessaries. Hope it gets sorted! It hurts!!
Oh, and also eat lots of fibre and drink lots of water to soften the stools. I am really sorry if this is tmi but I didn't know how else to put it! :barf:

You can get little cushions from the chemist to sit on that help relieve the pressure.
Also make sure you tell your middy as there are things they can do during labour that can help with the hemmys after birth. PM if you want to know more - might be TMI for some!!

Oh you poor thing, ive never had them that bad but when they get like that i have been told suppositries are the best, i hate the idea of using them so i just rub cream on them but if i were you id go to the drs and ask for a prescription of procotosedyl suppositries. No hang on my dr didn't prescribe she just wrote the name of it down on a piece of paper and gave me some info. at the chemist they gave it to me but asked my drs name and put a prescription sticker on it so im not sure maybe it is supposed to be by prescription but id first just phone the chemist and check rather than paying for the drs again just for a script up to you though. hope you feel better and more comfortable soon
