Building up EBM stock

I'm looking at building up a stock of EBM to send my DS off to FDC in a few months.

So a quick question ... can I add freshly expressed milk to frozen EBM? Or is it best to just refridgerate it and add to the bottle over the day before placing it in the deep freeze?

I'll be using the Avent VIA bottles and manual pump. Its been a few months since I've expressed so aren't sure how much I'll be able to pump over a day.

your best to store each lot in separate containers in the fridge, when they are all the same temp you can put all into one container to freeze :). Thats what i was advised. Its not good to add room milk temp to milk thats colder, visa versa

:iagree: Probably not a good idea to add fresh to frozen, just put it all in at the end of the day in one lot like you said.
