pooplosions and woolies

I was planning on using fitteds and woolies with the new bub until he/she gets a bit bigger(then I will use a bit of everything!). But, I am wondering about pooplosions, LOL! I know sometimes absolutely nothing will contain them...........but will a good fitted contain well or am I relying on the cover??
I really don't wan tot use PUL in the first couple of months or so but at the same time I don't want to be hand washing my woolies everyday and dealing with stains on them.

What is your experience??

We used fitteds with wool with no issues, but every bub is different, so you may just need to see how it goes when bub's arrives :)
