I am 5 days late and am stressing. I have a beautiful 12 month old son who is already becoming a bit of a handfull! I have always intended on giving him a lil bro or sis in the future but not this soon, I dont want him to miss a thing and I dont want my next one to either so I wanted to leave about 4 years between. Im sure there are many parents out there who have had two bubs close together and Im just wondering how to cope with the idea of having another already. Im hate to winge about the miracle of life but my boy is just so demanding and I feel as though my body wont be mine for another 3 years now. I know I am very lucky to be able to conceive so easily ( while I was trying not to get pregas) so maybe its just meant to be, I would just like some support from parents so that if I am positive I can get my head around it in a happy way instead of looking at all the negative things.
Thanks for the vent...
You'll be fine. It's great having kids close together. Yes, hard work for 18mths or so, but once the youngest is more independent, it is fantastic. They will play so well together.
Go for it. You wont regret it

lol if only our suprise package was concieved when bella is almost 12 months, instead she was 12 weeks old lol
Theres 12 months and 13 days between DSS and DS - pro's for that age gap are: they play together all the time, they are great friends and have the same interests and both have taught each other a few things. Have only been with DP since DSS was 15 months and DS was 2.5 months tho so no experience with the first twelve months of that close together
Theres 2.5 years between DS and DD and DS dotes over her. He loves to help feed and change her, fetch things for me, supervise her, tell me if shes moved off the spot i left her on lol and lots of things like that. He also likes to 'check on' her wihle shes asleep.. he asks if he can tiptoe in to look at her.... 9 times out of 10 he wakes her up, but thats okay she always wakes up happy to him hehe :D
The pro's I SEE that my two DD's will have with there 10.5ish month age gap will be: good friends like the boys, same interests, share clothes so cheaper lol etc :)
I'm sure if you are pregnant it will all be okay, and it might take a bit of adjusting because its a shock (some days im still getting the used to the idea of having new DD so soon) but you can do it :D
goodluck,
charmaine
