We have been TTC for 9 months and have just found out I have PCOS and am not ovulating.

I am also dealing with really bad acne, this has been a big shock to me as when I was on the pill I had great skin.

The problem I have is that people constatntly ask have you got any news etc , etc.

I have confided in my close friends and our family what is going on. But what do you say to others?

I don't really want the entire town knowing all the details of our life but I don't really know what to say.

What do others do?

For various reasons in the past,
I've told people that we're taking a break from ttc'ing or that we're putting it on hold for a while. Don't specify a time frame.
There's nothing wrong with saying something like that.
You Don't have to give them the details.
Plus, you'll need some time to deal with your condition and try to remedy it.
There are some really great books on pcos and preparing the body for conception as well as people on this forum that have conceived despite having it.

Goodluck:hugs:

i to have just been diagnosed with pcos and have not been ovulating, i have told family and close friends that i have to go on medication to conceive and it may take a while. Most a very understanding and dont push the subject a few do and i just tell them that we'll get there when we get there. i find having a few close people to confide in helps. I dont tell other people what is going on if they ask then i in a polite way tell them it is none of their business.
good luck hope you get your bfp soon
