Hi Hi Hi

I have booked my son in to see a Paediatrician, but can't get him in till August. His name is Dr David Wood. Have any of your lovely peeps heard of him? or even taken your child to him.
I have only lived in Brisbane for 3 years, and this is the first time that I have had to take DS to see a paed.....
I have heard there are one or two paeds at Redlands Hospital who are actually quite good. Do you need a referral from a GP to see these guys at the hospital???????
Sorry if they are dumb questions, i am a bit clueless when it comes to this sort of thing...

HI Ralli

Julian Mellick used to do redlands but doesnt anymore - Im actually searching for one locally, so if I have any success will let you know. Wow, August seems so far away doesnt it - although its next month, still a long time for a bub to wait...

good luck

Hi ..
Cool thanks for your help.
I am in desperate need now and the other day I rang around. You would not believe it, but everyone that I have spoken to has told me that August is really good. Both the Mater Childrens and Royal Childrens have waiting lists of up to 12 months. I was SHOCKED..

I come from Darwin, and usually if you wanted to see a pead, you could get in that week, or at least a couple of weeks. I am not used to having to be on a waiting list....
I guess thats what you get for being in a BIG city huh!!! :dizzy:
