Vitex while BF??

Hi Girls,

looking for some help with getting my period to return even though I am BF quite regularly. I have a 6 month bubba and we are keen to make her a little Sis or Bro! Problem is getting my cycle going. I have heard and read a little about Vitex and if it seems suitable then was considering seeing a Naturopath for some advice and the Vitex. Another thing I though about was putting my little girl onto formula for a few days only (she sleeps with us and BF 3-4 times at night which I will continue) but going 12 hours during the day without feeding is something that someone else suggested. I think we will try this before the Vitex, but keen for any advice.

It is a wonderful tonic to enhance the chances of conception through its ability to regulate ovulation and if taken through the first trimester, vitex will reduce the chances of miscarriage. After the birth, it helps a new mother to produce plenty of milk.

In other words as well as helping with conception it could help with breastfeeding :thumbsup: can't go wrong!
