My DS was diagnosed with this when he was born but they never did anything about it, now he's nearly 3 I was a little concerned about his speech so I took him to a ENT specialist to have it checked out. I went and seen DR Edward Marzec in Salisbury and he said my DS has it slightly that he could fix it or it might eventually fix it himself as is a very thin tongue tie. Maybe try and give him a go, I suppose it depends on where you live! All I did was go to my GP and he referred me and made the appointment. Hope this helps.
