can i please get some advice my soon to be 2 year old little girl has become a bully ...i dont understand it ....i talk to her and she ignores me :ecomcity:
we spend a lot of time with other kids and she used to be fine......now she gets cranky when they have a toy she wants and starts hitting them...is it a thing alll kids do?
she also does it at home and im at a total loss at what to do she has me in tears:crying:
she kicks bites scratches and throws herself on the ground ...
i want my nice little girl back

My ds did exactly the same thing about 12 months ago. He was going to child care a couple of days a week and his carers would talk to me nearly every day about his hitting and crankyness and it didn't look like there was any reason for it either. Anyway, 12 months on and he doesn't do it anymore (well no where near as much anyway).

We basically came up with a plan with his carers to have "time out" each time he hit or snatched a toy etc. We didn't give him any chances and that seemed to work rather quickly.

I still feel there was some underlying reason for it but we never found out what it was but I can assure you it will get better.

You poor thing. I do understand how you are feeling - I'm going through the same thing myself at the moment with number two DD. I lost it the other day and rang my mum for advice. You know what she said to me? "Well, what did you do with number one? You rang me when this happened with her, as well!". I had totally forgotten. My eldest is now a loving, caring little girl - and yet she went through this horrible stage as well. I know you feel that you are :banghead: , but consistancy is going to be your best friend with this issue - don't give up!
