I would offer both, but bub would only take one side,

Both :)

Now that he's only down to 2 feeds a day, I find it easy to remember which one he needs to start with: right for morning, left for night

Much easier than changing a brooch, bracelet every time bub needs a feed!

One most of the time, DS has nearly always been like that.

Same here... I spoke to an LC yesterday who said its perfectly fine to only offer one breast. Since I'm having problems with my left breast she recommended letting it dry up and the other breast will produce enough on its own. So far at night this isn't working as she is draining both sides!

I offer both. She needs both as I only make just enough milk.

One. Left breast is wake up milk. Right breast is sleepy time milk.

Each feed can be different. With all my other children 1 was enough for the hole time i bf but with child no 4 he has both sometimes both twice at one feed. ( especially since we had weight problems, he also had formula) U be the judge if bubby needs only one or both sides. Good luck in wsorking it all out. Bec:flowerz:

Both, every time. Prob just coz we have done it that way from the start. I have heaps of milk so if I don't give both at each feed they are throbbing by the next.

Always only the one, and on the very odd occasion bub has completely drained the first breast, then we will switch.

It is a known fact that if the first breast is not empty, and the second breast is offered, you *could* be giving too much foremilk, and not enough hindmilk, which can upset bubs tum, and foremilk is lower in fat than the hindmilk, so a feed like that may not be as satisfying as one on only the one breast.

usually during the day just the one side...

at night before bed she'll have both... and first thing in the morning she'll have both
