I was wondering if anyone else has been taking this to regulate your cycles and if so:

Have you noticed any improvement in your cycles?
If so how long did it take before you noticed anything?

I have only been taking it for about 2 weeks now and am hoping that it will speed up my body getting back to normal after going off the pill at the start of March. I am yet to have AF return.

Hi ladies, I did't take vitex to regulate my cycle but 1st month on it and wham bam thank you mam a BFP! Best of luck

Hey guys I love Vitex too it did wonders for my cycle however I cant take it while taking clomid so if anyone is interested in the tablets I have that I havnt used Im quite happy to give them away just let me know there is probably about 30 tablets left and you take one a day.

these things sound great! but what is vitex and chaste berry?? and where do i get them from? do you do both or just one?? and finally if you only use one, which is better? sorry for so many questiions!

my natropath put me on chaste tree from mediherb but when i saw this post on vitex i wanted to know what it was and they are one in the same from the information i saw it is a herb to regulate your cycles and it also said best taken in the am. Call your local health shop to see if they stock it:)

I've been taking Vitex for a couple of months. It hasn't regulated my cycles but it has certainly made them shorter! They used to be over 40 days, sometimes over 50 and now they are around 30 days - ish!
I'm hoping things will get more regular now!

Is it really best to take it in the mornings? However they may have said this as i am already taking a pregnancy multivitamin, a marine oil tablet and a B12 tablet (you disolve under your tounge) in the mornings after breakfast! lol

I was told to take them at night before i go to bed.. The packet says either 1hr before meals or afterwards...

I'm on my first Vitex cycle (did one in Jan but ran out and only just got more :o ) only day 4 but looking forward to a decent cycle for a change!!! :smiliedance: :smiliedance: :smiliedance:

Hi there I have a question regarding Vitex - Chasteberry...

I have read some wonderful clincal trials on this and hoping that I will have as much luck as some of the other's who have taken it:fingerscrossed:

does it really make a differance whether you have the extract/drops or the 1000mg tablets??

harmony i went to the health shop on friday for it... they told me the liquid is better than the capsuals because it absorbs better and faster than the caps. BUT next time i will be getting the caps because it tastes DISGUSTING!!! even with a full cup of juice! lol

does anyone know if taking vitex/chaste berry would give you a false +ve on an OPK test? Reason I ask is that i've only just started taking it on cd1, and now on cd9 I have a positive OPK. My other cycles I haven't ovulated until around cd45. I'm wondering if it's giving me a false positive, or if it's just started to work very fast??

French gal it would depend on the strength of the caps ? I've left what numerous authorities who have had either personal experiance or expertise with the herb recommend on the May TTC thread :idea:

as for interactions with other drugs and hpk's, opk's it doesn't react or give false positives or neg's. Unless your taking clomid there isn't a probelm, but then it said to switch to another brand of clomid and it'll be fine so it's the safest herb I have ever looked into. Very exciting.

Is popular the world over as well.
