Mater Mothers Public Brisbane

Hi Guys

Has anyone birthed at the new public hospital? I'm due in 3 weeks and was wondering what i need to take with me for the baby. Meant to ask at my appointment last week, but with my pregnancy brain i forgot. What do people think to the new hospital is it nice?

I am due to have baby at the new mater mothers in Brisbane in Jan 09 and would love to know what it has been like for Mums & Bubs.

i gave birth in the old one in December and i remember my midwife telling me that theres big baths and stuff in the new one... sounds nice.

why didnt i hold off for 4 months!..

Hello, I am due 12th august 08.

I have been in the new hospital and its great.

What gender is your bub?

Im having another boy lol i have a 2yr old BOY and a 16mth old BOY lol and now another hehe love the boys lol.

Love to hear how your experience went when you had bub and would love to keep in contact aswell if thats kewl.

I don't know what i am having, we have gone for a surprise again. We also have a 21 month old girl (Emily). I'll keep you posted as to the facilities when i get home!
