Anyone could recommend the brands of baby food processor?
I thought I might get the Breville food processor but want to check out on this recommend about the baby food processor - even strong and good one. Not the weak or broke down.
Ever thought of Braun baby food processor which is good for making baby food as only?
Thanks

Ive got a Braun food processor which is so versatile. I use it for cake making, baby foods (even though I have a toddler now), grinding coffee beans - heaps of things! If u do get one you wont be limited to just being able to do baby foods in it. Other things u can do is weetbix, nuts, chutnies, onion! ice, list is endless. I chop and change sometimes I use the stick mixer attachment and sometime I use the beaker container and blend in that. I got mine as a gift and highly recommend them.

I don't remember what type mine was, but it cost around $40 at Retra Vision. It was excellent. I handed it down to my cousin for her 2 girls and it's done both her girls fine. I think it was a Breville.

I used a "living essentials' by Mistral, cheapo one from big w, think it was all of $15! It was great, a nice little compact size so if i left it one the cupboard it didn't matter, it only had 4 parts the base, the bowl the lid and the blade...all (except the base) went in the dishwasher. I found it perfect for baby food!!:thumbsup:

Thanks for the answers! But I may have realised a little bit.... I am looking for the right baby food processor with including puree, chop, dice. mince, shred, grate, so many as ALL-IN-ONE.
I think I should keep looking more.....

I've heard the Bebe Delice is a good one, pretty sure it does all/most of those things you mentioned

I was given a sunbeam stick blender and it worked a treat as DD got older I jsut reduced the amount of time I blended for so she got some lumps. I found it great for doing bigger batches of fruit and veges as well as little amounts!
We have one of those minstral tiny food processors too and I found it a PITA for baby food. (but I usually did batches might have been better for single meals)

The Bebe Delice has a fault though. Both of mine have had the same thing - the first time we thought someone had dropped the blender bowl and broken a bit off, but its actually what a part of it does - it grinds away at the blender bowl :(
Other than that, I love mine, I just know that some day sooner rather than later its not going to work.
I would definately stick to a mini food processer and steaming in the microwave or on the stove if I had my time again, rather than spending $400 in total on my 2 bebe delice machines :crying:

Oh dear :( Maybe its not so good after all.
I used the Magic Bullet when my bubs had pureed food, found it gr8, you can steam veggies in it and then chop/puree.
Hello
I am from the company that distributes the Bebedelice 5 in 1 appliance to make baby food. I came across this thread and am concerned to hear you're having problems with your Bebedelice. We have a very generous replacement/warrenty policy and spare parts are also always available. Did you contact anyone with your concerns? The broken part you mention may in fact be an intentional change to the shape of the blender bowl activation piece. The triagular peice can sometimes appear as if it should be square and therefore is broken, it is not. It is shaped ths way in order to ensure optiomal contact with the blender activation switch. Anyway, I would be pleased for you to contact me and we could work out if any replacement pieces are needed. We have sold thousands of Bebedelice now and have many many happy customers so we would like to try to make you one too! Thank you

i use my breville stick blender or my rocket blender there fantastic
My very first one was from Target about 7 years ago and it looked just like a normal food processor except it was mini sized.
I've only just replaced it now because the bowl & lid had one too many collisions with the ground and it broke.

Sounds much like the one I just replaced mine with - Big W $10.
I can:
* chop onion
* puree soup
* mince raw chicken (great for kiddy size sausage rolls)
* blend normal table food as baby gets older (spag bol, stir fry etc)
* whizz up sauces and dips
etc etc...
I've given so many of them to my friends with their baby shower present and so far 100% strike rate with everyone! :yes: :D
I definitely wouldn't recommend spending a fortune on those fancy ones when you're basic ones do the same job. :)
