2/5 engaged at 27 weeks

Hi every one just found out today at my antenatal appointment that my baby is already 2/5 engaged and i am only 27 weeks pregnant.Its causing alot of pain in my pubic bone and my back is killing:( ( I know winge winge).Has anyone ever had their baby engage this early and what was the outcome did u have an early labour or did u goto term im abit worried my baby will come early because i went into labour at 33 weeks with dd and lucky it stopped.I dont want to have this baby early i want to at least goto 38 weeks.......:fingerscrossed: this baby wont budge until then

Hi- sorry to hear that you are worried! I had twins- one of them seemed to be permanently engaged... but they do move up and down all of the time. If you are having pain you could get a brace from the physio- that can help. Try lying down as much as you can- rest helps a lot! I know, very hard when you have other kiddies!

Thanx for your advice i spoke to my doctor about it and she said that because this is my second bub he should be starting to engage till 36-38 weeks my 1st baby started engaging at 33 weeks and that was when i went into labour and dialating.This time it is 6 weeks earlier than bub no 1 i have seen doc twice and both times he was down there 3/5 ubove the brim:( .I have been taking it easy cause of the pain but i know from my first that the pain will get worse:thumbsdown:
