DS1 has to dress up on the last day of kindy this term, the theme is fantasy. Any ideas? The kindy note suggested pirate or king. If you have any thoughts on how to make a costume too that would be great. I can be pretty crafty but am short on time and opportunity (a 17month old who rarely naps!) so the easier the better.
Thanks!

you could dress him as a wizard. You could make a tall cone shape wizard hat out of cardboard. Just cut out a really big semi circle and bring the flat edge together and sticky tape. Maybe paint on some stars. You could get a rectangle piece of fabric and make a basic cape too?

Great idea! :yelclap: You could also gently sand a strong stick and then roll it in glue and glitter to create a good wand, or even a long staff

Cheap shops sell kids pirate costumes....

Pirate
Cat
Rat - make the tail out of a stuff panty hose.. and some ears out of a cheap $2 headband, and then dress in brown...paint some whiskers on and some hair on his face.... Same with the cat, or even a dog...

I love the wizard idea!! Or a little prince would be cute. You could find a little gold crown somewhere (Spotlight?) and make a costume.
Or a little Knight in shining armour (alominum foil for sheild?)
