Pindara PH Gold Coast - Have a few questions

I have a few questions about Pindara Private Hospital at Benowa and wondering if someone who has given birth there might be able to answer them for me ;)

I am just wondering how your experience was? Did you like it, where the staff nice etc.

Also do they have baths/or spa's in the birthing suites?

I haven't given birth there, but my best friend had her both her boys there. She also works there, so she would be a bit biased ;) She thinks its great.

She had 2 c-sections and with her first DS stayed in for 5 nights and thought it was wonderful. Her DS2 had breathing difficulties and had to be transferred to GC hospital at a day old, so she stayed a few nights at Pindara, then a night at GC to be with him.

I visited her and it seemed like a nice place. The rooms were nice and backed on to a little courtyard which was really lovely. Not like a big cold hospital at all.

Sorry, can't help with the shower/bath questions :no: Not sure.

I'm due to have my bub at Pindara any day now..hopefully.

There is a spa bath there, they can fill it up for you, but do not put the jets on as they said it had something to do with health regulations.

The birthing suites are huge - like a little unit - have on-suite with shower.

The room you go to after the birth is a private room - own onsuite, fridge, tv etc.

I nearly cried after being shown around....compared to Gold Coast Hospital it is like a hotel.

I have had a few friends birth there and have heard nothing but great things.

I had both my girls at Pindara and thought it a great hospital ( loved the food too ).
Some of the midwives were great while others not so, but you get that anywhere you go.
