I was at MIL's for Easter and she said that my niece had/has thrush (she was scratching in her nappy). I thought kids couldn't get thrush, and if she did, how would she have gotten it?
Thanks for any help/info.
Children definately get thrush, usually in the nappy area and also in the mouth. It can be caused through lots of things, antibiotics, sitting in wet nappies, diet or just passed on through mouthing toys from an infected child. It is easily treated with meditcated creams etc.

Anyone can get thrush! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I would seek Drs advice, but if it is, she will more than likely need an antifungal cream to clear it up.
