Moffat Beach?

Does anyone live near here or do you ever visit this beach? I'm just a bit excited because we are renting a house for 3 months at Moffat Beach, we are coming from Auckland in October. What's it like? Do you know if it is dog friendly? What do you think of this area?

Love the whole of the Sunshine Coast - very jealous that you're having 3 months there!! Every year we spend a week or two at Raintrees which is just off Moffats becah and it is great! Not sure about the dog friendly part - hopefully someone who lives up that way can help out!

There would be heaps of great places to walk your dog & there are a few really nice parks there, perfect for toddlers & older kids as well.

ETA: Actually, I just realised after I posted that my avatar pic was taken at Moffat Beach! :D We were there for an under-8's day they had recently. Oh, and the weather will be perfect around Oct-Nov-Dec!
