Hi...I don't know how to say if I write this on BubHub. I have 2 birth stories but very different then. It won't be long stories then....so rather the short stories if the easy summary to read up!

First birth story of Lachlan Benjamin. Back to December 2006, On 8th December I knew there's something coming up because the bleeding was noticed. My husband and I went to hospital for appointment and I told the doctor that I had a little complicate with bleeding. It wasn't aware of that. Until morning I had foetal monitor for an hour or two. The other doctor mentioned there's strange note on my file then decided to take an internal examination on me. We found out I was 4cm dilated then later had a backache which was started.

We left hospital to get to collect my stuff then drove back to hospital again. We entered into birth suite for ready into labour. At 3.30pm I had the contractions since got it at home. It was been hours then later I needed to go to toilet if I feel the loo or something. I had water broke in toilet it saves the messy! Back into the bed I was laying back as relax. My husband, an interpreter and the midwives there for witnesses the birth.

At 8.26pm I finally gave birth to a boy Lachlan Benjamin after 5 hours labour. It wasn't the hard one. I had a very easy labour. Only the drugs as pethedine and nerve gas. I received 3 stitches just after had episiotomy with vaginal birth. Lachlan was born 3 days early before the due date was on 11th December.

About a year later, Lachlan was growing so quick he was about 7 months old. We decided to have another baby as number 2! We expected the number 2's due on 5th May.

For the second birth story I was nearly 9 months pregnant when I married in February 2008. I thought everything went ok. I had a few strange complicate with myself on my pregnancy. But nothing it was fine as normal. On 24th April I dropped Lachlan off at daycare. I went home and had the loo that I found another bleeding as same as followed in 2006. I rang the hospital and needed to be there for checkup. My husband came home from work being short. He took me to hospital for checkup. We waited for our turn. A nurse said there had some contractions but I didn't feel it yet by the foetal monitor. She gave us to inform if any complicate then come back to hospital again. We left hospital at 11.30am.

We had lunch at home and I feel had another bleeding again. Returned to hospital again for another checkup. Nothing wrong with that. We got home again from hospital. Should have been stayed at hospital all day if in case, it have got any happened with my pre-labour.

We picked Lachlan up from daycare then dropped him off at his grandparents. We went to hospital again at 3.30pm for checkup but very strange complicate. We left the maternity ward then walked down to the ultrasound for appointment later. We returned home for dinner. But at 5.40pm I felt the contractions just started as very strong pain. I rang the hospital for confirmed the ready for labour and getting an interpreter on emergency for me.

We left home at 6.30pm and rushed to hospital. Into the emergency room at 6.40pm I had to admitted for labour. But I rushed myself into the toilet room near the emergency reception. My husband heard my voice that he knew something wrong as hurry as I feel the baby was coming. He called the reception from the toilet room for something occurred. The reception has called via the announcer then the nurse came into toilet with me. My husband stand outside the toilet room. The nurse decided to call in for another nurse to come in.

I felt the baby was coming that the head was crowd in my cervical. Later I finally gave birth to another boy Ethan Zachary at 6.48pm. Only had under 5 minutes after arrived hospital. My husband who was missed out to see the birth scene because the 2 nurses with me in toilet room it was not enough room to space.

After the birth, I moved to the maternity ward. No drugs, no episiotomy, no stitches or nothing! But only a little tear with vaginal birth.

My husband and I can't believe the 2 birth stories were very different but 5 hours and under 5 minutes were apart for 2 boys. I realised I beat my mother who had my sister for 9 minutes labour. Haha.

Everyone as families and friends went stroked about the birth stories so quick and early. Ethan was born 2 weeks early before the 5th May. Another easy labour again! The end....;)

Yet to wait and see what's happening if have 3rd baby....maybe in a few years' time as ready or not!

Thanks for sharing the birth stories of your two boys. A 5 hour labour is quite short, but a 5 minute labour... that's a big WOW!!! And in the toilet too... hehe!

Congrats and yes, when number #3 happens you may want to think about a home birth 'coz you probably won't make it out of your front door before your baby arrives... hehe!
