Do any of you do temping?

I've put my name down to work 1 day a week .. or even just 2 times a month will do. office admin is all I'm after.

I could make a $100 a day. ( after tax )

if anybody temps , how did you find it and was it worth it?

I used to temp dental assist sometimes when Angus would work away to give me something to do but I found personally it wasn't worth it. I'm in a bit of a different situation though, I'll explain.

I live 4 and half hours from Adelaide so when I wanted to work I'd have minimum $100 petrol bill for a start just to get down and back. Then I'd need to stay with a girlfriend, so I'd give her some money to cover my electricity etc. I'd also buy some groceries to contribute to the food for the week. By the time I bought a bus ticket or drove to and from work (depending on where I was to be) and bought something to have for lunch I wouldn't come home with much! I'd also have to hit the shops!!

If I lived in Adelaide it'd be perfect as there is heaps of temp work for dental assistants.

Ill let you know how it goes. If it "goes" !! this stage no friday temping needed with one agency - but she said it does come up , so I'll just sit tight.
