I would like to be able to buy some OPKs more cheaply than via the chemist, but would prefer to be able to pay over the phone rather than over the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions of companies to use?

Also we would like to ttc a girl. As a novice I am wondering - do OPKs pick up a surge early enough to be able to plan intercourse for 2-3 days before ovulation? or is Maybe Baby better to use in this context? I don't have a regular cycle (34-38 days) and am currently only doing BBT charting.

Thanks :)

First Response 7 day pregnancy planning kits are available from coles. Approx $20.
Very cheap. They include 7 test strips and 1 pregnancy test. Good value I think
