Adoption in Canberra

Hi, can anyone help me in regards to a contact for adopting in Canberra.

My DH & I are going to start looking into Govt contacts in August to start getting paperwork done registering for adoption but I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, other contacts etc

I am very appreciative to anyone who can offer some help/advice.
