What happens at the 6 wk check up?

I have my 6 week post baby check up tomorrow. What are they checking? I don't imagine it is going to be anything too technical... all the ones during my pregnancy went: Pee on the stick, blood pressure, weight, "how do you feel?" and that was that.

You should expect an internal... but after everything you go through in labour , it nothing..

Oh Joy :) Not that it fazes me much. I've never had a problem with pap smears etc.. just one more joy of being a woman. I've actually got a much larger fear of dentists. I'd sooner see my gynocologist than my dentist :o

At mine, they checked that the uterus had returned to normal side, did an internal based on that and did some cauterising of some exposed stitches.

And we gave the OB a little pressie for helping us to deliver our beautiful boy and for being such a fantastic support to us throughout the process.:D

I never got an internal at either of mine. Wonder if its because i had c-sections?

Anyhow, they mainly ask how your going...is there pain? Are you coping alright? Stuff like that.....

I had a c-section too. But I'm fine, healthy as a horse :) I've felt comfortable washing, driving, mowing etc for weeks now.
