Hi,
My 16 month old son has started hitting and biting other kids. It seems to be kids his own age or younger, he doesn't seem to try it on the older ones.
I have been telling him off and taking him away and telling him that it's not a nice thing to do, but he doesn't take any notice...I hate seeing him act like this it's really getting me down.
He goes to daycare 3 days a week and I'm pretty sure he'll have picked up the behaviour from there. He's only just started walking so I'm wondering whether having had so long crawling when all his little buddies were walking he's now trying to regain some dominance or something.
He will also try and hit and bite me, but not my partner, though he only does that when he's tired.
Any ideas? Is it just a phase? I know toddlers do this, but he's such a lovely boy it's horrible to see him acting like a bully...
Sorry it's a bit of a vague post, I guess I just want to hear about someone else who's son went through this but turned out ok in the end :D
